Steelers head strength and conditioning coach Marcel Pastoor announced on LinkedIn that he would be leaving the team after 23 years with the franchise.
Phil Matusz took over the position of strength and conditioning coach for 2024, replacing longtime coach Marcel Pastoor.
Matusz will replace Marcel Pastoor, who spent the last 23 years on the Steelers’ coaching staff. Pastoor left the team in January.
He replaces Marcel Pastoor, who did not return to the organization after a 23-year tenure. Also hired was Justus Galac as assistant strength and conditioning coach.
