Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow finally broke his silence after undergoing surgery that will sideline him until December.
The Bengals quarterback was initially projected to miss three months after surgery to fix an injury initially reported as turf toe, but Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reported last week that it is a fully torn tendon, ligament and capsule in his foot.
Joe Burrow is out for the next few months after he underwent surgery for a Grade 3 turf toe injury on Sept. 19. There hasn't been much of an update regarding the Bengals quarterback since he underwent surgery, that is until his top receiver Ja'Marr Chase gave a funny, but promising update when speaking to the media on Friday.
Until something else comes to light, that reported best-case scenario of mid-December or January remains the best information Bengals fans have on Burrow. If nothing else, Chase, at least, makes it sound like it’s the same old Burrow attacking rehab while attempting to get back.
