EL CAJON, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Three lanes of eastbound Interstate 8 in El Cajon were blocked due to a crash involving a dump truck, according to California Highway Patrol.

One person was killed and four people were injured Saturday in a five-vehicle collision on Interstate 805, authorities said.

One person died in a five-vehicle traffic collision at around 8:52 a.m. this morning, according to the San Diego Fire Department. Four others were transported to nearby hospitals for injuries.
