AC Milan was to left rue Theo Hernandez’s sending off for diving as Feyenoord progressed to the Champions League last 16 at the former European champion’s expense with a 1-1 draw in the second leg of their playoff.

AC Milan will host Feyenoord on Tuesday at San Siro for the return leg of the UEFA Champions League playoffs as the side coached by Sergio Conceicao need to overturn the result of last Wednesday when Christian Pulisic and his teammates lost 1-0 to the Dutch team thanks to an early goal scored by Igor Paixao.

Feyenoord reached the last 16 of the Champions League on Tuesday after a 1-1 draw at 10-man AC Milan which took them past the seven-time kings of Europe 2-1 on aggregate.
