The Georgia Department of Natural Resources had a special delivery for Clark Hill. 150,000 fingerling largemouth bass have been released over the last two days.

Chase Clarke perfectly executed a big-bass pattern to win the weather-shortened St. Croix Bassmaster Open at Clarks Hill Reservoir presented by SEVIIN with a two-day total of 47 pounds, 7 ounces.

Last week, Clark took top honors in the championship flight of the three-day medal play tournament at Hill’s Heart of Lakes Golf Course in Brooklyn.

That stop is at Clark Hill Reservoir, a lake that neither of the big circuits has had a major event at in almost 30 years.
