SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WJAR) — An apparent crash on Interstate 295 north in Smithfield caused a traffic backup Monday night.

Roadwork on the Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township is expected to begin by early summer and is expected to take an estimated two years.
