Billy Ray Cyrus seemingly addressed son Trace Cyrus’ public concerns for him amid an apparent rift in their family, which also includes Miley Cyrus and Noah Cyrus.

Billy Ray Cyrus' son is sharing concern for his father's well-being. In an Instagram post Wednesday, Trace Cyrus, the 35-year-old brother of Miley Cyrus and son of Billy Ray Cyrus, wrote a message addressed to his dad and said that he is worried about him.

Trace Cyrus wrote an open letter to his dad Billy Ray Cyrus on Instagram saying he "barely" recognizes the man he once idolized.

Controversy erupted over the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer’s performance at the inauguration of US president Donald Trump, which many viewers branded an “epic disaster”. During the show, Billy Ray appeared to suffer from technical issues and at one point asked the sound crew if they just wanted him to “get the hell off the stage”.

"You should be ashamed of yourself," Trace wrote publicly on Saturday, two days after saying he's "genuinely worried" about the country star's well-being.
