The Super Bowl Halftime Show just got a lot bigger. On Thursday, Apple Music announced that SZA will be joining Kendrick Lamar during this year's halftime show, hosted at New Orleans' Caesars Superdome on Feb.

Kendrick Lamar uses a teaser trailer to officially announce SZA will be a special guest for the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show in New Orleans.

Kendrick Lamar will headline the mid-game concert, and will be joined by SZA, his frequent collaborator, CNN reported. He made the announcement on social media on Thursday, in a video that first showed him alone on a football field.

SZA and Kendrick Lamar at Coachella in 2018 ... Eminem, Mary J. Blige and 50 Cent. The halftime event will be creative directed by Lamar and longtime collaborator Dave Free’s pgLang company.

The show will air live on Fox and will be produced by Jay-Z and Roc Nation for a sixth year. Lamar, who shared in the Emmy for outstanding live variety special for the 2022 edition with Jay-Z, Jesse Collins and other guests such as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and 50 Cent.
