Boston Police Department's Human Trafficking Unit, in conjunction with officers from District D-14, arrested Xiaofeng Wang, 26, on Tuesday night for alleged involvement in a human trafficking operation in Brighton.

A man died after being shot on Ridgewood Street in Dorchester on Tuesday evening, Boston police said. At approximately 7:21 p.m., officers responded to a report of a person shot and found an adult male “suffering from a gunshot wound,” police said in a press release.

At about 7:21 p.m., on Tuesday, officers from the Boston Police Department responded to a reported shooting at 73 Ridgewood Street in the Dorchester neighborhood. Upon arrival, police found an adult male with a gunshot wound.

Police said the shooting occurred just before 7:30 p.m. at 73 Ridgewood Street in the Fields Corner neighborhood of Dorchester.
