Election Day 2025 is here, with consequential races in New York City, New Jersey, Virginia and a redistricting ballot measure in California.

Voters head to polls Tuesday in America’s first major election day since President Donald Trump returned to the White House.

Check your voter status at the secretary of state’s website. Your ballot must be postmarked on or before Nov. 4 and received by county elections staffers by Wednesday, November 12. You can also drop off a ballot on Election Day at a polling place or an official dropbox.
