Texas football quarterback Arch Manning replaced Quinn Ewers while trailing Georgia 20-0 midway through the second quarter.

Both teams struggled mightily early on, turning the ball over four times in the first quarter. However, the Bulldogs were able to settle in and dominate in the first half, getting out to a 17-0 lead. Arch Manning briefly replaced Quinn Ewers in the second quarter of No. 1 Texas’ 30-15 loss to No. 5 Georgia. Ewers was benched with the Longhorns trailing 20-0. Texas had just 15 yards in five possessions with Ewers under center and he committed two turnovers with a fumble and an interception.

After benching Quinn Ewers in the first half, the Texas Longhorns have turned back to their starting quarterback.
