India's Gukesh scored a win over compatriot Leon Mendonca in ninth round of the Tata Steel Masters to go clear at the top.

In Round 10 of the Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2025, Gukesh Dommaraju retained his lead, defeating Max Warmerdam. Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu outplayed Vladimir Fedoseev, while Arjun Erigaisi drew against Vincent Keymer.

Gukesh, who became the youngest World Chess Champion in Singapore last month, beating Ding Liren in the final, secured his fourth win of the tournament in just 43 moves.
