The NFL regular season has concluded and the teams that qualified for the playoffs are set to begin competing for a chance to make it to the Super Bowl, arguably the biggest single event in U.S. sports with a huge global audience.

While it's too soon to know which two teams will square off in February, here's a quick guide to what we know about Super Bowl 59.

There have been 58 Super Bowls played in NFL history, and somehow, there are still 12 teams that have yet to win a Lombardi Trophy. However, that number could be going down by one this year and that's because there are five teams in the playoffs that will have a chance to end their Super Bowl drought.

Oddsmakers have five teams with odds of +650 or better, while the AFC South champions and fourth-seeded Texans bring up the rear with their 100/1 odds.
