The probe into the Air India plane crash is being led by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB). A London-bound Air India plane, AI171, crashed in Ahmedabad on June 12, killing 270 people.

NEW DELHI (Reuters) -Indian investigators of the deadly Air India airliner crash that killed 260 last month told a meeting of lawmakers that the plane's black boxes were not damaged, two people familiar with the discussions said.

The London-bound flight crashed shortly after takeoff, descending rapidly from 650 feet and killing 241 of the 242 people on board, along with casualties on the ground.
