Pennsylvania voters are heading to the polls on Tuesday to decide whether to keep three Democratic justices on the state’s seven-member top court, which could affect the panel’s partisan balance.

Today, Tuesday, November 4, is Election Day for the 2025 General Election. Voters across both Ohio and Pennsylvania will head to the polls to cast ballots in judicial, municipal, and local races as well as ballot issues.

Voters across Pennsylvania are casting ballots in the municipal election, headlined by retention votes for three state Supreme Court Justices. Polls close at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Ahead of Election Day, The Daily Pennsylvanian has compiled a comprehensive ballot guide to all of the candidates on the state and municipal ballots.

South Philadelphian Sue Henderson, 50, a registered Democrat, cast her vote for Dugan, the Republican candidate and a former Municipal Court judge. “If you know you want change, you have to go in a different direction. He’s had two terms to do it,” she said of Krasner.

On Tuesday, Pennsylvania voters will decide whether they want to retain the Democrat majority on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
