Heavy rain over the weekend is forecast to bring some minor flooding across northwest Oregon. An atmospheric river is forecast to bring 1 to 2 inches of rain in the Willamette Valley and 3 to 5 inches in the surrounding mountains with warm temperatures that will also lead to snowmelt.

An atmospheric river is expected to affect western portions of Washington and Oregon beginning Saturday and continuing into Tuesday. This will bring the potential for urban and river flooding impacts.
