LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A winter storm dropped several inches of snow and ice onto the Louisville area on Sunday, making driving conditions dangerous Monday morning. Driving conditions are hazardous and officials are asking the public to stay off the roads if at all possible.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The winter storm is making travel very hazardous in Louisville and the surrounding area. Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg said it will take time to clear the roads. In a social media post, he said it takes about six hours to treat roads in Jefferson County, and it takes 12 hours to plow roadways.
