Mitchell Santner will lead New Zealand for the first time in an ICC event. He will captain a strong 15-member squad featuring experienced heads Kane Williamson and Tom Latham in the Champions Trophy 2025.

New Zealand are placed in Group A alongside India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, with only two sides to progress for the semifinals.

The squad features pacers Will O’Rourke and Nathan Smith, who have been in good form recently. This will be their first senior ICC tournament. Adam Milne, another fast bowler, has also been included after serving as a traveling reserve in the 2024 T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies.
