A snowstorm this week is predicted to bring around at least four inches of snow to a sizable part of Illinois. Here's what to know.

The Peoria area is in “the crosshairs” of the approaching winter storm, said Albano. The area has a 100% chance of precipitation Wednesday. Although The Weather Channel’s forecast calls for more snow in northern Illinois, Peoria should see between 3-6 inches inches. Albano estimated that the area will receive at least 4 inches.

The western and central parts of the state, including Worcester, are expected to get four to six inches of snow accumulation from this weekend's storm. Areas south and east of Int
