The suspects fired shots through the window of the boy's home from the outside, according to HPD. They reportedly made it inside the house before they took off on foot.

Around 10:30 p.m. HPD and the Houston Fire Department responded to a shooting at 5050 Yale Street. A man in his 20s was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by HFD. According to HPD Lieutenant Horelica, he just moved here from Louisiana.

Patrol officers were flagged down by someone at a taco truck who said that people inside a car were acting suspicious. When officers checked it out, they found two men who had been shot.
