MLB.com reporter Thomas Harding is reporting that the Colorado Rockies will likely promote LHP Carson Palmquist (No. 9 PuRP) to start tomorrow night’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Arizona Diamondbacks will get their first view at the new-look Colorado Rockies this weekend, although the Rockies have looked a lot like their old selves since owner Dick Monfort fired manager Bud Black on Sunday.

In their second game under interim manager Warren Schaeffer, the Rockies’ offense was once again a no-show in a 4-1 loss to the Rangers on Tuesday night at Globe Field. Schaeffer was named interim manager on Sunday when Bud Black was fired.
