Brick-by-brick, the WWE 2K Dev Twitter account is sharing some of the development progress on the upcoming WWE 2K22. Most recently, they touched on adding and improving animations.

WWE 2K22 players are discovering that the new game has unofficial entrances for AEW wrestlers including Kenny Omega and Britt Baker.

While the new WWE 2K22 screenshots for Becky Lynch, Rey Mysterio, and Sasha Banks feature them doing their entrances, the one with John Cena and The Rock shows the two facing off in the ring.
