The 27-year-old model started working with the lingerie brand in 2019. On Tuesday, Sampaio and Alex Consani made history as the first two trans models to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

People reports that in 2019 Sampaio also became the first trans model to be featured in an ad campaign with Victoria’s Secret.

Razek stepped down from his position in 2019 shortly after Victoria’s Secret hired Sampaio as a model. After the runway show on Tuesday, Sampaio released a statement thanking Victoria’s Secret.
