To commemorate the event, the VMI Museum has opened a new exhibit, with rarely seen Jackson relics, called "14 Days in May".
The paintings were selected by Col. Keith Gibson, who is executive director of the VMI museum system. They were featured in the VMI Museum's main gallery earlier in the summer.
