A Union Pacific Railroad train derailed two miles east of Gordon, Texas, on Tuesday, the company said, and emergency responders said the derailed cars did not appear to be leaking their contents.

Union Pacific is resuming previously suspended train operations during school drop-off and pick-up after a 15-year-old boy was hit and killed by a train while walking to school in 2024.
