A Houston-based musician and teacher is raising funds to print copies of his two-volume set of classic Venezuelan folk music.

One song used the familiar sounds of an ice cream seller in Venezuela. Another, “Pajarillo,” combined bits of a traditional Venezuelan dance tune with the classical notes of a fugue.
