The National Weather Service said a weak tornado touched down Sunday afternoon in Palm Bay and uprooted a tree and caused some damage to a home.

Portions of the North Country are surveying the damage left behind by a confirmed tornado that passed through the region on Thursday evening, Sept. 4.

Western Mass News went out to Holyoke to see some of the damage of the intense storm that tore throughout the bay state Saturday.

The damage was highly localized, indicating the tornado was on the ground for only a short time. Witnesses in the area shared photos of the damage, which included an uprooted oak tree and damage to a home.
