In Minnesota, forecasters warned of “potentially life-threatening travel conditions” as whiteout conditions reduced visibility. Heavy snow was expected over the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes.

Wintry precipitation brought an icy slop to roads and sidewalks around the Lehigh Valley on Friday night, just as forecasters had expected.
At 7:23 p.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service issued an ice storm warning in effect until Monday at 10 a.m. for Southern Fulton, Northern Saratoga, Northern Warren, Northern Fulton and Southeast Warren as well as Hamilton County.
Winter storm warnings are in effect the New York City area with heavy snow expected across the Tri-State Area.
