Starbucks Is Adding Protein Drinks to the Menu—Here’s What a Dietitian Thinks
Starbucks is launching Protein Cold Foam and Protein Lattes as permanent menu items nationwide on Sept. 29. Cold Foam drinks will have 19–26 grams of protein and lattes will have 27–36 g, thanks to new protein-boosted milk. A dietitian notes that added sugars remain high, and unsweetened options are better for daily routines.
