Three matches are official for the Friday, October 31 Halloween edition of WWE SmackDown. As announced on this week’s episode, the United States Championship open challenge segment that has been a staple of the program in recent months will continue next week with Ilja Dragunov defending the US title.
Cody Rhodes ran into Jimmy Uso before WWE SmackDown, and Uso thanked him for standing up for Jacob Fatu last week.

Drew McIntyre must be a happy man. McIntyre left WWE SmackDown riding high after laying out both Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso. It puts McIntyre in the driver's seat before next week's undisputed WWE title match at Saturday Night's Main Event.
