Reports are emerging that the R&B icon Teena Marie, who was found dead in her Pasadena home the day after Christmas, may have died from suffering a grand mal seizure.

Seizures are also known to accompany alcohol withdrawal, low blood sugar, certain infections, brain tumors and other medical conditions. Likewise, some seizures are also known to be linked to stroke.
