A church leader in San Francisco is asking for the public's help to find a historic saxophone, linked to legendary jazz musician John Coltrane.

The leader of a San Francisco clergy is asking the public for help locating a saxophone that for more than five decades has been integral to the weekly sermons at St. John Coltrane African Orthodox Church.

The Saint John Coltrane Church was founded in San Francisco 60 years ago, named after the legendary jazz musician. The saxophone, a Selmer Mark 5 Tenor, has been used in every church service since.
