Early last week, the Gazette reported that Red Lodge Mountain’s owners were seeking new investors in the ski area and its 18-hole golf course after some of the investors decided to cash out.
For about a year, investors in Red Lodge Mountain ski area and golf course have been looking for new partners after a majority shareholder decided to cash out.
Red Lodge Mountain Resort, which includes the 1,600-acre ski area on Grizzly Peak as well as an 18-hole golf course north of town, was sold to JMA and Angelo, Gordon & Co., a hedge fund, in 2007.
The Red Lodge Mountain Resort is being sold, along with the golf course, to JMA Ventures of San Francisco.
