One of the highlights of the day was Lingard-Marcus Rashford (FC Barcelona) 'Best Friend vs. The two are former Manchester United youth and also made their professional debut at Manchester United.

If Rashford joins the Asian tour on the 21st, he could face former Manchester United teammate Lingard. Lingard, 32, is in his second season with K-League FC Seoul.

Debut & Old Friends Rashford came on at the start of the 2nd half replacing Raphinha and was greeted on the pitch by Lingard who currently plays for Seoul.

The duo have only lined up on opposite sides once before; Rashford scored the opening goal in a 3–0 win for Manchester United against Lingard’s Nottingham Forest in December 2022.

Marcus Rashford, Lingard, Ashley Young and Timothy Fosu-Mensah all visited the 73-year-old and spent half an hour with him discussing the club before the posed for photos.
