The University of Southern Mississippi community is preparing for an annual event, showcasing traditional Native-American culture.

An annual event showcasing Native-American culture in the Hattiesburg area that was canceled the last two years due to the pandemic is returning in 2022.

The Southern Miss Powwow, a free, family-oriented event that celebrates the culture and traditions of Native American peoples returns to the Hattiesburg area this Saturday, Oct. 8.
