A Bettendorf woman is using her personal battle with kidney disease to inspire others to become organ donors and highlight the critical need for organ donation in our community.

Caitlin Cahill, 10, looks at a quilt on display Friday, which honored and remembered 25 organ donors. Cahill's grandmother, Gretchen Raebel, was among those honored with a quilted block.

Major upgrades are in the works at the Washington National Cathedral as part of a $14 million expansion project to improve its massive pipe organ.
