Social media has become inundated with discourse about the presence of male cheerleaders in the NFL ahead of a new season.

United States Senator Tommy Tuberville, who previously was the head football coach at Auburn, recently issued a warning to the NFL about the Minnesota Vikings and other teams having male cheerleaders.
