Mitch Holthus, the Kansas City Chiefs NFL play-by-play announcer for 30 years, was given an award by the Kansas Society of Washington, D.C.

Holthus mentioned to the crowd that one of his favorite things inside the new KCI airport is the large Variety KC display easily spotted as people make their way to the B-gate.
