Videogame movies are blessed/cursed with a pre-built but purist fanbase. So far, the blog bitching has targeted Max Payne’s director, Irishman John Moore, who made 2006’s limp redux of The Omen.

So to the gaming community, Max Payne is viewed as a hero. But to the movie community, The 2008 adaptation directed by John Moore (Behind Enemy Lines, A Good Day to Die Hard), is seen as a sick joke.
