A man’s body was found on the west end of Hayden Island on Thursday morning, according to the Portland Police Bureau. Police were called at 11:30 a.m. to investigate.

Portland police arrested a 68-year-old man on murder and assault charges in connection to the death of a man, whose body was found on Hayden Island Thursday morning.

According to court documents, Timothy Hudson told investigators about a drunken brawl at his camp that kept escalating until the victim's death.
