Pep Guardiola saw another goal from a man who will soon be playing his last game at Manchester City, as Kevin De Bruyne boosted the hosts to a 1-0 win over Wolves at the Etihad Stadium on Friday.

De Bruyne’s goal ended some nervous moments including an absolute sitter missed by Wolves in the first half when Jean-Ricner Bellegarde slid a square pass to Marshall Munetsi rather than take the shot, but his pass was just out of Munetsi’s reach.

Kevin De Bruyne scored and gave Manchester City a crucial but barely deserved 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers and a lift into third place in the Premier League on Friday. The Belgian is leaving City at the end of the season and still providing good memories thanks to his goal against a team that won its last six league encounters.
