Capacity at Lake Lopez campgrounds had been reduced to half in response to the COVID-19 outbreak but a park official said the campground capacity will return to 100 percent Friday.

If you’re thinking about camping at any point this year, reservations for places like Lopez Lake are filling up quickly.

The Lopez Lake, Santa Margarita Lake, Oceano and Coastal Dunes campgrounds can now operate at full capacity, according to Nick Franco, parks director for San Luis Obispo County.
