STARKVILLE — Mississippi State baseball will be hosting Louisiana Tech in a fall scrimmage, new coach Brian O'Connor announced Aug. 20 while speaking at a WFCA radio station banquet.

The Louisiana Tech program has a Bulldog baseball connection, as its head coach, Lane Burroughs, served as an assistant coach at Mississippi State.
