In November, Kia started customer deliveries of the all-new, three-row SUV Kia EV9. Meanwhile, EV6 sales more than doubled to 1,290.

Kia initially raised prices for the EV6's second model year, for 2023, and dropped the base Light version with the smaller battery pack.

In September, Kia sold in the US 2,084 EV6, which is a 45% increase year-over-year and about 3.1% of the total volume.

A facelifted version is currently under development, set to make its debut next year. This update aims to bring the EV6 in line with Kia’s newer EV models in both styling and technology.

Kia and Hyundai achieved 15 straight months of growth in the US last month. Kia’s EV6 set a new October sales record with 1,542 models sold, up 30% over last year.

For 2024, Kia has also added a new EV6 Light Long Range in all-wheel drive configuration. This version will be priced from $49,850, representing a $3,900 premium over the rear-wheel drive version.
