In compliance with President Donald Trump’s executive order protecting Second Amendment rights, the White House has removed an advisory identifying gun violence as a public health issue.The government webpage detailing the consequences of America’s easy access to guns is no longer live.

“U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy has issued a landmark Surgeon General’s Advisory on Firearm Violence, declaring firearm violence in America to be a public health crisis,” the website used to read.
