Eastside Golf partnered with Paradies Lagardère to operate the store. Paradies is an operator of travel retail, as well as the PGA Tour Shops where Eastside Golf has a presence in 10 of its stores.

Independent golf shops are down 40 percent since 2010, while national golf store chains now account for 45 percent of all doors and 71 percent of all golf retail space.

Golfers’ Warehouse has new competition in the South End of Hartford. Club Champion, a custom golf club fitter based in Chicago, says it’s opened a new, 3,500-square-foot studio at 300 Murphy Road.
