Giant Eagle wants pennies. And it's giving away gift cards worth double in exchange

Giant Eagle announced the "Penny Exchange Day" for Nov. 1 at all 200-plus Giant Eagle and Market District locations. Customers who bring in pennies from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. will have them exchanged for a Giant Eagle gift card.
