A woman who died Tuesday after she was struck by a vehicle in Methuen, Massachusetts, has been identified. Police were called at 7:11 p.m. to the area of 301 Merrimack St. for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

Authorities have identified a Haverhill woman who was fatally struck by a vehicle in Methuen Tuesday night. Erika Newvill, 23, was fatally struck around 7:10 p.m., Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker said in a statement.
