Reliance and Disney have launched JioHotstar, merging JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar content libraries. Existing subscribers of both platforms can retain their plans but must use JioHotstar.
The merger creates the largest media group in India, with streaming platforms JioCinema and Hotstar combining for 100+ channels and more than 50 million subscribers.
