Fishing for walleye was very good using four-inch speckled curly-tailed grubs. In northern and northeast New Mexico, the streamflow along the Pecos River near Pecos was 151 cfs.

The black crappie record was one of those which was wide open when the DNR modified the fishing records a few years back.
